The name "ChiMac" is a combination of two Korean words 치킨 (chicken) & 맥주 (maek-ju), which mean chicken and beer, respectively. ChiMac is a very popular combination of food and drinks in South Korea. The demand for specialty chicken shops proportionately increased with the growing demands for chicken and beer.

As an attempt to popularize and spread a part of the Korean culture and society, Chimac Star was born in 2017 to not only try to satiate our customers' hungers, but also to give people a place where they will be able to enjoy themselves with their families and peers at place filled with delicacies, music, neon lights and a gatropub-like ambience.
